I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100. First person to guess it then chooses a number between two other numbers of their choice. Whole numbers only unless you specify that there are decimals in your number. A max of two decimal places. A max of two guesses per post. This game depends entirely on trust, so if you can't promise to tell the truth, then leave. Alternatively, you could always just message someone your chosen number to prove that you're not changing it and they can back you up but it would be nicer just to trust people to play nice. Edit: Oh and when you're choosing a range, make it reasonable and not like between one and one million. |
And doing it your way reassures that she will take much longer to find an answer. The point of the game is to find the numbers and continue, no? So then let her do it her way, get the numbers, and then let her do her own turn. Then you can play however you see fit. Why would you discriminate tactics when the point is to get more people involved and keep the game running? |
I'm not doing anything wrong! I am just guessing! I'm doing this so I can remember what I've guessed. Other people can still guess, it's just that I am the only one replying to this thread right now. If you prefer, I could do two consecutive numbers, but I can't just guess randomly, for I will get confused. 4 or 5? |

Why would you discriminate tactics when the point is to get more people involved and keep the game running? You mean taking the fun out of it by removing all guess work from the game? Seriously? You people are so obsessed with winning you don't even want to play it in such a way that's enjoyable. It doesn't matter how long the game takes, once my round ends I was going to wash my hand sof it anyway, so you go be 'efficient' in your own goddamn rounds. I don't bloody care how long you lot take to answer. There aren't meant to be tactics, it's a game of chance. You pick a number at random and hope it's right. It's excluding people when she does that too, if she's just running through all the numbers by herself, then no one else gets a go in. The only reason they would be posting would be so she didn't double post. |
If someone else were to jump in it wouldn't mess up anything. They would either continue her path or start their own guesses. It could turn the game into less of a random assortment that makes it more difficult to deal with to a more sensible game that more people will jump on board to play. And if you weren't planning on continuing the game, then why are you being so specific about how it must be played? The point is to find a winner and play again. That is the concept of a game. If you wanted the game to absolutely be so specific, you would have thought of this point already and placed it in the rules. But you didn't, so discriminating her tactic is only going to push her out of the game and chances are, someone else will jump on and do exactly the same thing. |
